KARTER BEARUP

Karter's passion for horses has always been a big part of his life. From a little kid to now, his joy has always been working with horses.

While growing up in Silver City, New Mexico, Karter’s family owned a construction business, that kind of work helped him learn hard work and dedication. Day working for ranches is how Karter found his passion for horses.

Now located in Arizona, Karter's passion is building a firm foundation with a horse, regardless of discipline. His love for training and showing is evident in colt starting, cutting, team roping, and cowhorse. Of all the horses he trains/rides, BLU MASTERPIECE, a 2017 model brown stallion, is by far his favorite. Together, they are a force in the cutting world, most recently being your Open Cutting Reserve Champion at the 2025 Arizona State Championship Show.

Joining forces with Vera Earl Ranch has allowed him to further his dreams and make his mark.
