VERA EARL RANCH & PERFORMANCE HORSES

Family-owned and operated since 1968, the Vera Earl Ranch (VE) spans from the base of the Santa Rita Mountains in the west, across the valley and over the Whetstones to the San Pedro River in the east; each part of the ranch is managed through sustainable grazing and ranching to enhance the entire ecosystem.

While striving to raise efficient, high-marbling cattle, the VE is also breeding high-quality horses with pedigrees consisting of BLU MASTERPIECE, FULL METAL METALLIC, and home-bred VE ARIZONA OUTLAW, along with additional bloodlines of Hired Gun, Brother Jackson, Shiney Outlaw, Scooter Kat, and the Animal. Our 25+ broodmares with bloodlines tracing to Smart Little Lena, Peppy San Badger, Playin Stylish, and Peptoboonsmal now also consist of multi-champion cowhorses: VE ONE HIRED GUN and SMOOTH CAT VOO.

Still in its infancy, the horse side of the operation has now forged forward in building a conditioning and rehabilitation services. The new barn offers state-of-the-art equipment for breeding, conditioning, and cold-water & salt spas/treadmills to maintain excellence in horsemanship. Soon open to the public, you can schedule wellness sessions to maintain your horses.
